Corporate term
The professional term is IT Asset Disposition, often shortened to ITAD. It covers the secure retirement of business IT equipment, including collection, asset logging, data sanitisation, refurbishment, resale and recycling.
For your clients, the message is simple: their old laptops are not just clutter. They are data-bearing assets that need to be collected, tracked and processed properly.
Our ITAD workflow
Each batch is handled through a practical asset retirement workflow designed for small and medium-sized businesses.
Send us the quantity, device types and collection location. We confirm the batch and schedule collection where eligible.
Assets are received into our workflow and separated for data-bearing checks, testing, refurbishment or recycling.
We record key details such as asset type, make, model and serial number, giving your business a useful retirement trail.
Once processed, we can provide an asset list, wipe record or completion certificate for your files.
Visual workflow
Instead of one flat image, this section is built from separate website cards, illustrations and live text so it looks sharper, scales properly and can be edited easily.
We securely collect redundant IT assets from your site and bring them into a controlled asset disposition workflow.
Data-bearing assets are logged, sanitised where eligible and processed through a wipe, secure erase or destroy route.
We retain the assets within our reuse-first recycling chain, recovering value where possible and routing end-of-life equipment into responsible downstream recycling.
Data security standard
For laptops, desktops and removable drives, our process can be aligned to NIST SP 800-88 media sanitisation guidance: Clear, Purge or Destroy depending on the device, condition and customer requirement.
Data-bearing devices are separated, logged and matched against the asset register before processing.
Eligible drives can be overwritten or reset so data is not recoverable through standard software recovery methods.
Where supported, SSDs and modern drives can use manufacturer secure erase, cryptographic erase or enhanced purge methods.
Failed, locked or non-wipeable media is excluded from resale and can be routed for physical destruction instead.
Reuse & responsible recycling
Where equipment still has life left, we aim to refurbish and route it back into productive use. Items that are damaged, obsolete or unsuitable for resale are separated for responsible recycling rather than being treated as general waste.
Good equipment is tested and prepared for refurbishment where suitable.
Data-bearing devices stay in the wipe, secure erase or destroy workflow.
End-of-life equipment is routed into suitable recycling channels.
Corporate disposal wording
This gives the company a clear asset-disposition route: equipment is collected, logged, sanitised where required, then either refurbished for reuse or responsibly recycled through an appropriate downstream route.
Trust & paperwork
Serial numbers and device details can be logged so your business knows exactly what was collected.
Data-bearing assets can be supplied with a wipe result or completion record for your internal files.
Reusable equipment is retained within our controlled ITAD workflow, tested and refurbished where suitable, helping businesses achieve secure asset retirement while supporting circular economy and sustainability objectives.
End-of-life equipment is retained within approved downstream recycling routes, supporting compliant asset disposal, material recovery and environmental reporting requirements.
